Academic Advising @ Hazleton

Lackawanna College's Student Advising Program is based on the premise that there is no substitute for faculty and professional staff members who serve as role models and mentors to their students.

All matriculating students are assigned a member of the College's faculty or professional staff as an academic advisor at the beginning of their studies at Lackawanna College.

The purpose of academic advising is to assist you in the planning of your academic goals.  Academic advisors also play an important role in providing direction, support, and referrals for specialized assistance if necessary.

Advisors help you coordinate your academic plans while at Lackawanna; however, YOU bear the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that you are meeting the requirements for your degree.  Keep in contact with our academic advisor!  He or she can be a valuable resource for your future plans.

Kayla, I resent the letter. There is now a form on the portal which will check if a letter has been sent or not and will allow you to requeue the letter if you ever needed to do this again (have to hit search button twice for some reason).
